In late 2016, Microsoft introduced an answer to this concern through a product now called PowerApps. Since then, we have combined the xRM capabilities from Dynamics 365 and have integrated features from Office, Flow, Power BI, and Azure to extend the platform’s capabilities. In this session we will cover an overview of PowerApps including developing an application connecting to a data source without code, devices supported, running the application, licensing, extensibility points, and discuss why PowerApps can replace fully custom applications. Mike Huguet is a Senior Software Engineering Lead on the PowerApps product development team at Microsoft. He and his team focus on features and tooling that aid customers and partners in improving the quality of their PowerApps and customizations to their Common Data Services and Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
