Main Presentation:

Build a Web Server in 1 Hour!

James Sampson (Sparkhound)

In organizations adopting more devops-centric paradigms, the role/act of testing occurs closer to the individual changes being completed. In this demonstration, I’ll present an approach to enable a pull-request centric testing flow for SPA’s, allowing QA and clients to see changes in isolation from other changes to be validated and before integration poisons later environments.

James Sampson originally began his career wide-eyed and bushy-tailed at a Baton Rouge IT consulting firm that you may have heard of – Sparkhound. In more recent years, James has found himself working at a local software company called Bluefin Data. At Bluefin, James helps to gather requirements for new projects/features to the companies platform – VESL, architect cloud and process solutions, implement new features and bugs, as well as a variety of other tasks that he maintains are ‘important.’
