Sponsored by: S3 (Strategic Staffing Solutions)

Presenter: George Mauer
George is a .NET developer with a keen interest in maximizing long-term business value through good software development practices. He is particularly interested in Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development, and the SOLID principles. He is currently the Vice President of the Greater New Orleans .NET Usergroup and a regular attendee at gnocode (New Orleans Programmers) and Virtual Alt.NET meetings.
Topic: .NET 3.5 Lambda Expressions
You Can't Dance the Lambda is a presentation on why he uses the .NET 3.5 lambda feature all the time and for everything and so should you. It covers the basic need for lambdas and why, despite the spooky syntax, functional programing is nothing new to .NET developers. The bulk of the presentation discusses various patterns of lambda usage and strives to impart an understanding of when one should use these techniques as well as how.
