Just use forms already

George Mauer (Surge Consulting)

Everything old is new again! HTML forms – which we all used years ago have gone out of vogue in favor of model-binding, uni-directional data-flow, Relay, FRP, and every other thing under the sun. But they are still around, and they are still useful. With a few minor tweaks indeed, they are extremely useful even in modern web application. This talk covers the why and how of using forms in modern web applications.

George Mauer is a software developer, speaker, teacher, writer, and comedian with an interest in the various techniques that can make software simple, extensible, and communicative. He’s the director of Development at Surge Consulting and mentors and helps build curriculum with Operation Spark. He speaks regularly on Javascript, Interviewing, C#, MVC, testing, and more at conferences, usergroups, and to his cats.
