How to live .Net in a MEAN world: An introduction to Mongo and the Node suite for the .Net guy

-Jonathan Nogueira (Baton Rouge General Hospital)

I’ll be going through an introduction to Node and the paradigms it represents, and Edge.js, a set library that lets Node scripts access .Net libraries, and C# execute Node scripts. I’ll also be looking at Mongo and the C# driver for it.

Jonathan Nogueira is an Intro level programmer at Baton Rouge General Hospital, and has been working with .Net and the ASP.Net stack since early 2012. He enjoys working on 3D rendering and small electronics projects. He also enjoys working in and contributing to the open source community and is overjoyed that .Net is joining the fold.

Case’s prime role at H&E is User Experience (UX) design and implementing best-practices in JavaScript, CSS, and REST services to enhance the usability, speed, and overall trainability of in-house applications.
